Strength is birthed out of adversity,
Character grown from the dark soils of suffering (Romans 5:3-4).
Don’t give up, don’t grow weary, tired one (Galatians 6:9),
Don’t lose your faith, walk by it (Romans 1:17);
No matter how hot the fire is,
You have to believe: your faith is coming forth as gold (1 Peter 1:7).
Only look with faith and see—He is with you in the fire (Daniel 3:25),
Though it’s scorching, you will not be burned;
The flames will not consume you (Isaiah 43:2),
Only refine you.
Don’t fear, dear one,
Your life is safe in the hands of the One who loves you—
There is no fear in His everlasting love (1 John 4:19; Jeremiah 31:3).
If you would only endure—
Endure the weeping, though it may last for nights,
Have hope, dawn is breaking through,
Joy will come (Psalm 30:5).
Have faith;
Where you see ashes, the Lord can make it beautiful (Isaiah 61:3).
Selah.
