“Trouble isn’t necessarily a sign of sin in our lives. It may be something God allows us to go through to draw us closer to Him.”

Trouble isn’t necessarily a sign of sin in our lives
But when we focus on the trouble it could blind us from seeing the bigger picture
Like a traveller in a desert in need of water.
Our souls during troubling times seek to find a way out.

We take two steps forward and 3 steps backward,
Like being stuck in a never ending cycle of faith and unbelief.
We end up saying to ourselves, “when is this going to end?”
Still, faith seems to always persist where troubles exist.

Just like a radiant sunrise
Faith removes the blindfolds from our eyes
Helping to bring light into the darkened places
Providing us a solid rock to stand on whilst we wait.

What do you choose to focus your lenses on?
Is it the troubles that seems to cover our eyes from seeing the morning light?
Or the faith that keeps us firm and grounded in the dark?

God has given us His light
To draw us closer to His undying mercy and grace
To gaze at His magnificent glory.

Our troubles may be big and difficult to overcome
But with it comes its purpose,
God’s mercy and His grace to help us endure and stand firm.

Therefore be encouraged my friend, keep the faith,
For all things will work together for good and for God’s glory
Your breakthrough is coming!
